Bakgrund: År 2011 fick cirka 58 000 människor i Sverige diagnosen cancer. Antalet människor som drabbas ökar och varje år avlider cirka 21 000 människor till följd av sjukdomen. Sjukdomen orsakar lidande vilket medför att den drabbade är i behov av förståelse. Forskning kring cancersjukas upplevelser efter att ha fått besked att deras tid i livet är utmätt på grund av Terminal cancer är  begränsad.                 Syfte: Syftet var att belysa upplevelsen av förändring i livsvärlden då cancern övergår till ett terminalt tillstånd.                Metod: En kvalitativ litteraturstudie baserad på sex självbiografier.

Modern agriculture equipment are more computer based today, and many equipments use a terminal in the tractor where the driver have the opportunity to make adjustments to the equipment. This is the reason why ISO developed a new standard called ISOBUS. It is a communication standard based on CAN specially adapted for griculture equipments. The purpose of the standard is that it should be ossible to equip a tractor with a standard terminal called Virtual Terminal that can be used to control the equipment. The use of the terminal should be independent of the manufacturer of the tractor as well as of the equipment.The purpose of this report is to ?nd a solution of how to use CC Systems on-board computer, CCP XS, as a Virtual Terminal.

Den här rapporten undersöker om gränsen mellan Terminal Services och Citrix XenApp har börjat suddas ut eller om man ännu kan dra en tydlig linje mellan dessa. Detta för att avgöra om organisationer som idag kör Windows Server 2003 med Citrix XenApp enbart klarar sig med de nya funktionerna i Windows Server 2008 Terminal Services och ändå uppfylla de krav och behov en organisation har. Arbetet genomfördes rent teoretiskt. För att avgöra likheter och skillnader mellan applikationerna, så användes till största delen ett ramverk. För att kunna få en bild av hur applikationerna tillämpas rent praktiskt, användes tidigare testar samt analyser.

This literature study aims to examine the existence of cancer stem cells in breast cancer. The cancer stem cell theory states that there is a hierarchical organization within a tumour, in which a small subpopulation of the cells can initiate new tumours and maintain tumour growth whilst the bulk of the tumour cannot. These tumour initiating cells have shown to possess many characteristics similar to those of adult stem cells, which is why they are often referred to as cancer stem cells. Both cell types have the capacity of asymmetric division and have shown to possess mechanisms of resistance to both apoptosis and cancer drugs. The cancer stem cell theory elucidates many biological aspects such as the heterogeneity of tumours and the relapse of many cancers after what appeared to be successful treatments.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to identify differences and similarities, regarding security, in two goods terminals in an organisation in the transport and goods sector. In this thesis we use Cultural Theory as an analytical instrument to investigate organizational culture, as seen from a security perspective. Every year 300 children in Sweden are diagnosed with cancer, but through research and successful clinical work 70 % of the children survive their cancer. Aim: To illuminate nursing care of children with cancer. Method: The study was carried out as a general literature study through systematic review and analyse of 18 scientific articles. Result: The analysis resulted in five themes: Support, play as a psychological assistance, alternatives to alleviation of pain, nutrition and relieving symptoms of fatigue.Conclusion: It is important that the nurse has knowledge about the children and their family?s experiences when dealing with a cancer illness to provide the children with adequate care.

Cirka 300 barn per år i Sverige insjuknar i cancer. Upplevelsen av att ens barn diagnostiseras och behandlas för cancer är något av det svåraste som kan drabba en förälder. Barn får andra former av cancer än vuxna och behandlingen är ofta lång och påfrestande. I sjuksköterskans ansvarsområde ingår att ha en dialog med patient och närstående samt att ge stöd under behandlingen. Genom att sjuksköterskan stödjer föräldrarna under barnets behandling ger det föräldrarna möjlighet till att på bästa möjliga sätt ta hand om sitt barn.Syftet med studien var att beskriva föräldrars upplevelse av stöd från sjuksköterskan under tiden då deras barn behandlades för cancer..

Lung cancer is a disease which patients experience stigma in society and in care. This is because lung cancer is often seen as a self-inflicted disease. The stigma surrounding lung cancer is due to the strong relationship with smoking and have been shown to have a negative impact on the perceived health. The purpose of this study was to illuminate experiences of stigma for patients with lung cancer. The literature review was based on 11 scientific articles.
